Magical Dining Month.
Orlando’s Magical Dining Month is celebrating its 11th year of operation and is now well and truly under way. Magical Dining is a special month-long program where participating restaurants feature prix fixe dinners at the exceptional value of $33 per person. The special menus offer a three-course meal which includes the choice of an appetizer, entrée and dessert from the restaurant’s “Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month” menu. Tax and gratuity is not included.
The great aspect of this promotion is that One Dollar from each meal sold will benefit The Russell Home for Atypical Children.
The promotion runs every night, August 29 – October 2, 2016, during the restaurant’s normal dinner service. Please call the restaurants directly for days and hours of operation.
This year more than 90 restaurants in the Orlando area are participating. For a complete list of participating restaurants and their special menus go to the “Visit Orlando” web page. www.visitorlando.com.
With so many restaurants to choose from your dining decisions may be difficult. To help you choose, and in no particular order my top ten suggestions would be:
- Morimoto Asia
- Ravello @ The Four Seasons
- STK Orlando
- Rusty Spoon
- Luma on Park
- Urbain 40
- Cask & Larder
- Hamilton’s Kitchen @ The Alfond
I have had the pleasure of dining at all of these restaurants and can recommend both their quality of food and excellence of service.
Where am I going? Well to add a little challenge to the experience, I am going to randomly select one restaurant from those that I haven’t visited before.
I will of course report back.
