Wine of the Month – with WINEBOW

We continue with our series of wines of the month from the outstanding wine importer and distributor Winebow. Each month we bring you some amazing wines that may have escaped your attention or are new to market. The wines are selected by one of the Winebow dedicated specialists, Tony Azzollini.

This month we are featuring : SPY VALLEY SAUVIGNON BLANC

Here comes the Sommelier stuff:  Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a sustainable crafted wine from the Waihopai Valley New Zealand with grapes grown in very well drained Alluvial stony silt soil. The wine gives aromas of grapefruit, lime zest and hints of passionfruit.

What does Tony like about Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc: This is a classic Marlborough, combining the dry palette with an interplay of tropical fruit taste notes. It also has a really cool story behind the name. Owned and operated by the Johnson Family, Spy Valley Wines is located just up the road from a US government listening post, hence the name Spy Valley. With a passion for excellence, Spy Valley Wines consistently produces globally acclaimed award-winning wines.
