Teak Neighborhood Grill – 901 S Orlando Ave. Maitland.
Great to see the second location of Teak Neighborhood Grill now open in Maitland. Teak have made great use of the space and created a light and airy restaurant with a couple of serious looking bars and of course a covered patio for the cooler days. Big TV screens throughout the restaurant make this a great place to check out your favorite game.
The menu is classic Teak with an extensive selection of Appetizers, Flatbreads, Salads, Sandwiches and a small Entrée section, not forgetting some addictive looking desserts. But Teak are really known for their Burgers, with 19 listed on the menu and a Teak Challenge that defies you to eat 2 full pounds of ground beef and a grocery list of other sides and additions. They say try if you dare!
Ridiculous to say but even with 19 burgers listed we could not find the right combination, as like most serious burger eaters, we know what we want on our burgers. Not to worry, Teak will happily accommodate any requests to build your own burger with any of the ingredients they have available. Our tip, start with a “Plain Jane “and keep adding.
In short, Teak Neighborhood Grill delivers a really good burger at great value and offers a perfect location to catch a game and hang out if you live anywhere near Maitland.
