Last Night at – Wanderlust Wednesday – Ivanhoe Village

We took part in our first “Wine Walk “last night and were delighted to attend the “Wanderlust Wednesday” event around Ivanhoe Village. Wanderlust Wednesday was created by the amazing Sandi Thompson, Executive Director of the Ivanhoe Village Main Streets program and a veritable power house of enthusiasm for the promotion of all things Ivanhoe, Sandi was ably supported by “Chuck”, her glamorous assistant (sorry Chuck).

A slight drizzle of rain did not deter our enthusiasm, nor our numerous companions, as we signed in at the first port of call, Factur, a member driven fabrication laboratory.

Rosé was the theme for the evening, a great choice and curated by Tim’s Wine Market. All wines are picked and tasted by Tim himself, the Proelio Rioja Rosé was especially good! The rain suddenly stopped and off we went, visiting Horizons Vintage Clothing, Retro City Cycles, White Wolf Café and ended the evening at the very cool M Lounge rooftop bar.

We had a great time, met some amazing people and learned a lot more about Ivanhoe Village, so try the event for yourself, and explore Ivanhoe Village, the event runs every third Wednesday of the month with Food Trucks, Shopping, Sales, Entertainment and more! No purchase necessary to enjoy the event, but if you’d like to participate in the wine walk, you can buy tickets for $15 and stroll through Ivanhoe Village sipping superb wines. Tickets for the wine tasting are limited and advanced purchase is encouraged. Redeem tickets for event map and wristbands at check-in locations. All proceeds directly benefit the Ivanhoe Village Main Street.
