Farm & Haus – East End Market Orlando.
East End Market has become a veritable “Hot House” for the cultivation of food concepts and budding restaurants. Some making the transition from food trucks to bricks and mortar, others using the excellent space as the platform for their new adventure or idea.
The market has a distinct “Bohemian” vibe with diverse food offers that focus on local supplier provenance and fresh ingredients. Sounds like a recipe for success, and it is.
One such success story is Farm & Haus.
The original idea back in 2015 was the premise that Farm & Haus could supply chef made and home delivered amazing food, in fact they publish that if you check out their weekly menu posted each Friday for the following week. Then choose your favorites and place your order by 3pm daily for dinner, you can have this delivered to your door as early as 5:00pm that same night. They have also an excellent “Made from Scratch Menu” available at the market for you to take out or eat in.
I chose the Breakfast Sandwich which featured “Hausmade” maple and herb sausage, melted gouda cheese and an over medium egg, served in an English muffin. The sausage was the “hero” of this sandwich, just spicy enough to be interesting and married well with the gouda.
Other menu items included – a Wakey Bowl of scrambled eggs and avocado, an Ultimate Burrito, Southwest Quinoa Bowl and more.
Other amazing food offers that are proud to call the East End Market home are:
- Olde Hearth Bread
- La Femme du Fromage
- Gideon’s Bake House
- Lineage Coffee
- Domu
- Houndstooth Sauce Company
- Skyebird Juice bar
- Florida & Co Farm Store
We’re working our way through the list!
