The Little Blue Donut Company – Winter Park
Our local Winter Park friends have been raving about the Little Blue Donut Company, so we thought it was about time we gave them a try. Although they have only been open for a couple of months, the owners Alyse & Mike Perfetto seem to have made the addition of a bricks and mortar site to their already successful truck operation an instant hit with donut aficionados and attracted a steady stream of delighted customers.
The Donuts are custom made and topped to order, hot and fresh, a winning combination in our book, but you really have to try them for yourselves. They have a range of 18 varieties plus daily specials and they also serve some great coffee.
Our Donuts today were:
Key Lime – vanilla icing, white chocolate chips, Graham cracker & lime drizzle
Choco-PB Pretzel – caramel icing, pretzels, chocolate & PB drizzle.
S’mores – chocolate icing, Graham cracker & marshmallow drizzle.
Cookies-N-Cream – vanilla icing, Oreos & marshmallow drizzle.
But we could have chosen Sriracha Peanut – Samoa – Maple Bacon – French Toast or many others, but we thought 4 was enough for this visit. Difficult to pick a favorite but the Cookies-N -Cream and Key Lime stood out as great examples of what the Little Blue Donut Company is all about.
Little Blue Donut Company have parking just behind the store off S New York Ave, making it just a short walk for your donut fix.
